  I was thrilled to try such a treat with some age at a reasonable price on a restaurant list. Unfortunately, the wine was clearly past its prime and way too old for a 12-year okd Cote Rôtie of this caliber (especially given the previous glorious comments!). Probably just a bad bottle or a badly stored one.
