Needs some more time in the bottle. Plenty of acidity bodes well for aging but quite tense and tight right now. I opened this bottle within a couple of weeks of receiving shipment. I'll hold the others for a while before trying again.
ZAP 2013 (San Francisco, CA): dark red, maroon in color. spice, dark fruit, pepper, on the nose. caramel, pepper, leather, blackberry, blueberry, oak, on the palate. balanced acid and tannins on the finish.
