A dark damask red with no sign of ageing. Rich fruity nose with raisiny plums and mulberries, underlain by leather and gorse/broom floral notes. The tannins have rounded out and there is a medium to medium full body with plenty of fruit (as above). A decently long finish. Better than expected from a wine that has seemed a little underwhelming in the past.

Rounded, light.
Not much depth but good fruit. Hints of liquorice and tar.
Drinking well now.
Very nice at lunch.
Will last for another three years
