W spicey sausage and lentils. Yummy dish and good combo. This is at the top though time to drink up. Good color, nose and balanced palate. The syrah shines! Good wine that shows that ageing these makes them more interesting.

Dark red in color, Vibrant blackberry aromas. The fruit is intense but not overbearing. Blackberries with some cherry notes. Licorice on the mid-palate. Fruit becomes pleasantly lush with food. Firm tannins, nice acidity, great balance. Finishes long with dark fruits and licorice notes. It's a big wine, but really beautiful. Drink over the next 3 to 4 years. 72% Syrah/18% Grenache/10% Mourvedre.

Sundaynight burger. At first i thought it was a bit bitter but I think it is the mouvedre that shines. This needs air as itgot a lot better after an hour opening. Works great with food of course. Fruitstays around. Drink in next few years, wont get better. Needs food (like all wine).

Full bodied. Dense dark fruit with mocha. Long finish. Seems over priced at $75 from the winery.
