The wine pours a clear golden straw color with very thick legs, typical of that of California chardonnay. On the nose, the scent of honeysuckle and peaches leap out. This is followed by notes of citrus, vanilla and crème brûlée. There is mild sweetness to the wine, most probably due to the malolactic fermentation. On the palate, the texture is unctuous with a bit of discernable heat from the strong alcohol. There are flavors of honey, wheatgrass, and cream-based desserts. Finish is of medium length. What an easy drinker and what a beautiful wine. Tasted at Corkbuzz with Charmaine.

Enjoyed. Nice mature Chardonnay, drinking perfectly now. Nice balance of acid and fruit.

very californian - oak has settled down but still present. can age longer and perhaps the oak will settle even more.
