  • 2011 Burgs (Noize): Another cracker from the first flight. Sensual, floral nose that had a touch of smoke; equal in quality to the Pataille's, but less sauvage. Nicely full on the palate, and straightforwardly pleasurable, with some violet and a gloriously crisp red-fruited finish. My WOTN, although only the group's fourth favourite.

I gave 93pts to the 2008 a few months ago, perhaps this is a wine I should start buying!

  • 1st of a case, ready now but no rush, we’ll balanced, decent depth for the vintage, lively acidity with just enough fruit, a decent finish. Good value here

  • Totally uplifting, fresh fruit with gravitas and weight, counteracted by savory flavors and ripe tannin..amazing crunchy texture, near-perfect balance. Long finish leaving you wanting for more.
You know a great wine when you and your companion finish the bottle without realizing it.
    Absolutely delicious.
    Only 4 bottles left.

  • Dark medium-medium(+) ruby, slow moving tears @13% abv. Closed nose of red fruit, forest floor and tobacco (sic). Dry, medium acidity, medium tannin, alcohol and medium(-)-medium body. Fruit-driven focused intricate and evolving palate of strawberry and cherry jam, milk chocolate notes. Long-very long defined finish with bright acidity and specks of pepper, forest floor. Well balanced, fruit-driven and precise Pinot Noir.
    Bravo!
    Drink now.

  • Drinking ok now but still seems to be developing, it’s pretty good after 3 hours open after being fairly mute to start. It’s got a bit of earth and nice depth of blueberry fruit, the finish is a little short, aside from that its a pretty lovely glass of wine
