Quite nice for its level and drinking well tonight. The tannins are still abit on the chalky side.

Two hours of slow ox. Candied and velvety. No sign of the vintage’s greenness. Very well made for a village wine.
Arnoux-Lachaux of Vosne Romanee 2011 Vintage (Pickled Heron, 2218 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia PA): Higher on the slope. Touches Suchots. A bit reticent. Cooler menthol note. More velvety and plush than other Lachaux wines. Not giving up much on this night.
Tasted at the Domaine. More open the 2010. Spicy with notes of cinnamon.
