Light red. Scents of anise and wet earth. Light, lithe feel, very faint green tones, more structure than is apparent on the entry. This has better mouth feel than the '08 Boillot and finishes dry but with smoother tannins. Classic lighter styled Nuits-no fruit bomb this.
Light ruby. Fragrant wild strawberries, bark, tobacco, cloves on the nose. Pure clear line of fruit from the tip of the tongue right down the middle of the palate with warm mocha notes at the back. Bright acids. A lovely wine with a wild elegance. 55+14+17+8.
