  Loaded with Tannin, fruit faded, even too much crunch for me. Time will not help it.

  Popped and poured. Dark inky purple in the glass; very little visual sign of age. Aromas of plums and baking spices with some secondary aromas of leather and earth. On the palate, dark fruit, vanilla, leather and a touch of olive and earth. Definitely on the decline but I don't think this will drop off a cliff anytime in the immediate future either. It's simply losing some of it's power. Drink now.

  The color is dense, opaque, and inky-garnet. The smells are candied fruit, vanilla, and menthol notes. The tastes are currants, blueberry, cedar, spicy notes and a hint of salinity. The tannins are furry velvet and the finish is long with a hint at a sour finish. This is big and sweet.

  Excellent bottle. Dark garnet color. Strawberry, plum, charcoal on the nose. The palate is medium-full, tannins are still firm, great balance. Very solid and structured, but with delicious fruit.
