  • A very flashing wine with pronounced juicy cherry nose. My initial reaction was to do a double-take on if I have mistakenly opened a bottle of Gamay. Over time, the nose developed into plum and a hint of leather. Throughout, it still had an unmistakable bubble gum aroma.

Soft and pleasant like one would expect of Merlot. It was a crowd pleaser.

  • Once you get a big taste, and get some air swishing this wine around in your mouth, it gets a little past the simplicity a small, lips only taste first delivers. It has textbook Merlot magenta color. There is a conifer hint to the blue fruit on the nose. Just barely medium bodied. The fruit has a spicy cedar and menthol start to the blueberry and black cherry fruit. n ot much oak or tannin. Well conceived, if too young natural acidity that could use some time. Spicy, evergreen, maybe even eucalyptus influence to the lead and slightly dry, mineral meets black cherry finish.
