Dark red/black at the rim - quite evolved nose of blackberries and dark fruits. Medium bodied, to a degree a currently closed palate, very ripe with slightly grainy tannins, this wine is in sore need of more cellar time.
Cassis, other fruits, and some oak on the nose. Fruit forward and seemingly young initially, but really opens up after a few hours of air with layers of complexity (decant would accelerate opening). Delicious with medium to full body and a long finish. I'm planning to give my two other bottles more age, but we really enjoyed this bottle. High quality juice.
