Compliments from Chef Karl at Table at 7 to match with the smoked ocean trout starter. Screw-cap. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of mangoes, nectarines, citrus lemon, green apple, sea-salt minerality. Developed. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of rounded sweet cream, honeydew melon, green apples, mangoes, citrus lemon. Salty medium finish. Good quality. Cool climate and clean flavours, yet appealingly round on the palate without the laser sharpness of a Chablis. Unoaked Chardonnay from coastal vineyards ranging from Monterey County to San Luis Obispo. Drink up and enjoy.

This was a very nice wine. We both liked it as it paired well with the Parmesan cheese, tomato herb and crackers. Then dinner with s spicy Caribbean jerk dish. The nose was greasy but not overly citrus The taste was a hint of lemon and apple. Finish was very fresh.

a little disappointed by this bottle because I had the wine about 2 months ago and enjoys it. Seems like it's missing the "unoaked" characteristics like sharp acid and linear mouthfeel. Probably went through full malo which is covering up the edgier side of the wine.

Buttery. Not too rich. Good with creamy dishes.
