Medium translucent with garnet highlights. Dry, medium bodied, highly acidic, moderately tannic. Notes of cedar and flowers. Good wine but lacking depth.

Cherry notes, dry, light, simple profile. Perhaps drink warmer than cellar temperature

Chianti Classico tasting- the black rooster crows at the dawn of a new age (Allerton Hotel, Chicago IL): Nose: Forward and easy nose with tones of red fruits, herbs, and cherries.
Taste: Medium bodied with medium acidity. There is nice balance to the tones of red fruits and cherries, but they are lacking depth.
Overall: This is a nice, but forgettable chianti. It's decent and balanced, but is fairly simple and straightforward.
