This remain a interesting white. Served at about 50 F. Nose was not very expressive and was slightly disappointing. Flavors have melded nicely though into a soft Blend of Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gewurtztraminer with a touch of Chardonnay. Still holding together (and stored at 55 F since receipt) but I do not perceive it is going to get better. Likely just past peak. Like all Armot Roberts wines it has a long somewhat acidic finish. Interesting!

At our house, dinner with Gary/Danielle, Jimmy/Mary, Rusty/Sharon...
First wine tasted of the evening, had next to a Varner Chardonnay to contrast two varietals. Arnot Roberts is one of the better small production producers to come on the scene. Great variety of single vineyard and non traditional wines.
Color is pale/tan yellow, some cloudiness. Nose like a Sauvignon Blanc, done without oak (or any that I could detect) wine is crisp and acidic. Citrus, pears, pineapple. One taster noted meyer lemons (spot on).
Medium finish. Drank even better when revisited later (and a splash on day 2) when it was closer to room temp. Flavors more evident and lasting on the finish.
We drank as a first wine/aperitif, which worked well. Could also do this with fish/shellfish, chicken risottos, first course. elegant and unique wine from a solid producer.

Delightful; lithe but substantial. Paired well with Asian flavors.

Very interesting. Like a very big Sauvignon Blanc w/o grass. Try next in 2015
