  • Wow! I love these good Gruner Veltiners...so much so that I order them every time they are on a restaurant list. Color is golden straw. Nose reveals pear, honey, and spice. On the palate, there is a juicy tart pear flavor intermingled with a nuance of lime. These flavors are framed by an element of white pepper and good acidity. This is a wonderful, medium-bodied white that I wish we saw more of at our retail outlets.

  • Notes of white honey, peach and pears on the nose along with backnotes of white pepper. Hints of lychee nut and a sweetness that's driven by the intense fruit, not simply sugar... Lovely wine, not anywhere close to peak.
