Lost this bottle at the back of a rack. Truly past it’s prime. However, still lots of rich black fruit, and a stubborn streak of anise running through it. Enjoyable, but much better in its prime.

Last bottle of 4, unbelievably good value. Rich, medium bodied, still has some fruit, tannins are mellow, above average finish. Not as good as the first bottle I had, but still wonderful.

Black cherry/ currant/ plum and cocoa on the nose Medium plus palate of black fruit Medium plus well integrated tannins and excellent acidity Seems to have much riper fruit profile tonight with almost stewed /dried fruit character which I dont particularly care for

shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate the end of the workweek. second time tasting this wine. the wine is essentially the same as when tasted last year. this wine walks softly but carries a big stick. 15.5 alcohol on the label. could be higher but undocumented. alcohol is not intrusive as it is matched with big luscious dark fruit, ample tannins and some wood. this wine remains youthful. still needs several more years to evolve and spread its wings. lucky i can afford to be patient and enjoy other things while i wait for this one to be ready. kudos to wtso for this find. need to become more familiar with the centesimino grape and what other producers are using it.

Delicious big wine made from a lesser known grape - exciting & unique experience. High alcohol but nicely balanced fruit & tannins. Wish I had more. Great value
