Shared with pat at selkirk manor. Lot's of very bright cherry fruit. Not much else going on here. Might have enjoyed better with more acidic food. A goodmid-week drinker. Enough stuffing here to be able to age one more year in bottle.

had a few sips at walk around tasting at novita. this is a fruit forward wine but with enough acidity to make it interesting. still, i think this style of wine needs to be enjoyed in its youth. probably will not keep this more than a year just to see if it becomes a little less rambunctious. bit the bullet too fast on this one. local retail price offers qpr which is more in line but i am trying to support charlie's continuing efforts to develop a wine program.

Still a fairly good wine, but I think it has passed the top.

Helping a friend with a north-east Italian Wine List; 4/3/2014-4/10/2014 (TBD): Ruby, slight purple in color. The nose has some cherries. Nice juicy acidity. Great body. Some tannins. Dark cherries. Needs some air or time but drinking well.
