  • Still delicious and at peak !! I agree with my past five tasting motes over the past 8 months.
Dry cork broke, had to resort to my Durand, remnants removed without drama or extreme measures. Consumed my last bottle of the vintage over three days, strong showing throughout. This balance Pinot Noir displayed deep ruby color with no oxidation and medium clarity. Aromas of pomegranate and carmel, flavors of sweet cranberry, cherry, rhubarb, and forest floor with a pleasant medium to long finish.

  • Still tasting great, at peak !! I agree with my previous tasting notes of the past several months !!
Perfect cork, easily removed. Consumed over two days, just a delicious example of the best Russian River has to offer. Age worthy balanced Pinot Noir, I still have two bottles remaining in my cellar.

  • I agree with my tasting notes of the last few months. Still in a good spot, this wine is still tasting great right now !!
The cork was perfect and easily removed after over a decade in the bottle. This is a balanced Pinot Noir was consumed with friend at dinner. Deep ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of pomegranate and carmel, flavors of sweet cranberry, cherry, rhubarb, and forest floor with a pleasant medium finish. Great fruit with firm acidity made into a very balanced Pinot Noir from the Quail Hill Vineyard on the estate in the Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma County. This Pinot Noir is an age worthy wine and has many more years of life left. I still have three more bottle of this vintage remaining; I may open one in the next few months or so to validate longevity and verify my tasting notes.
