This wine inherently explains why Bordeaux grape varieties are blended together with each of the components (46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Cabernet Franc, 23% Merlot) contributing their hallmarks in a beautiful manner, weaving in and out on the palate, allowing one to pick and pull out different aspects with a little joyful focus.
Plenty of life left here, as the flavors haven't entirely left primary land yet.
If I were to ask for more here, it would simply be for a little more complexity in the end result, but that seems silly to request in a wine that delivered very well for the ~$30 paid.

Clear, deep ruby color. Dark and secondary aromas- roasted coffee, dried violets, cedar, iron, with cassis fruit. Brightens on the palate, with up-front red apple, berry and currant fruit. Secondary notes and mineral, floral, white pepper and cedar & spices. Medium-bodied, richly layered mid-palate, juicy acidity, and chewy grainy tannin. Floral fruit on the finish, medium length. Very enjoyable.

Walla Walla tastings: Savory aromas of cracked pepper, anise, fennel and currant. Fine and precise on the palate showing black cherry, minerality and black tea spice. Fine silky tannin and full finishing notes. Nicely complex. Excellent.

Beginning to come together nicely. Fruit, acidity, oak are balanced right now. Glad to have 5 more of these to enjoy....
