  • Very similar to last bottle; lush, ripe with ample acidity to highlight all of the wine’s strengths; papaya, apricot, mango and some pineapple notes; great viscosity and so easy to drink!

  • Medium gold color; nose of gala apple, nectarine, brown spices and petrol notes of TDN; pleasant salinity on the tongue with marvelous tongue-coating viscosity; apricot and pineapple flavors really pop as brilliant acidity amplifies every aspect of this. Absolutely singing right now, can’t imagine much upside from here. But should easily hold at its apogee here for 3-5 years. No rush.

  • nose of white flowers, getting honey and petrol on the nose. Definitely on the sweet side with some honey on the palate. Very rounded and getting viscous, but slightly bitter on the finish.

  • This continues to drink really wonderfully, much like my bottle from about a year ago. While the palate is certainly on the lusher and sweeter side for a Prüm GH, the flavor delineation, intensity, and length of the finish make this a standout. Such complexity, such depth, utterly charming.

  • Prior bottle was 13 months ago and this bottle was clearly superior, in line with my bottle from February 2022 and proving (to me) that my bottle from June 2022 was just negative bottle variation/cork issues.

Really pretty and aromatic nose with a mix of yellow and gold fruit, especially peach and pineapple. Medium bodied with a very similar flavor profile/evolution to my bottle of February 2022 with yellow peach shifting to golden peach, adding yellow pineapple that moves to gold pineapple and everything underlain with yellow apple. Background notes of honey as well as other nuances and hints of additional tropical notes. Better depth and richness than either of my 2022 bottles and well supported by acidity, providing the needed balance. Obviously, there will be bottle variation, but if this bottle is any indicator, this wine has several years ahead of it at a high level. My final bottle and I was very pleased that the luck of the draw made this one the last, allowing it to out on a very high note.
