Deep coloured. Coffee and plum on the nose. Silky, mid weight not overdone. Very balanced between fruit and a kind of umami savoury back note. This is excellent and unforced.

This was one of the top three Ripassos according to our little tasting panel. Ruby with a fair amount of garnet. The nose is clean, with oak-induced aromas of sweet spice and vanilla. The palate is dry, with medium alcohol (13%), medium acidity and medium (+) tannins. The body is light (+) to medium, the flavor intensity is medium and the length is medium. Drinking well now through 2020. This has a really good QPR.

Good balance and structure. Deep red with shades of purple, the nose is full of red fruits and cherries. Silky and very elegant on the finish. Decently sweet, as a Ripasso should, was a very nice glass of wine. I will open the next bottle in two years though.

Not overly complex but a fruity sweet beauty.

Drank along side the 2012, this bottle showed a bit better, maybe with the age. More fragrant and structured. Both drank very well.
