A: lemon/lime, sourdough bread, chalk T: Medium-bodied, medium-plus acid. Mouth-watering minerally tartness flawlessly integrated with honeyed, limestone lemon. Long lingering finish. Not a fan of Chardonnay in general but this stuff is magical.
Jura wine tasting at home 10/25/14 - Medium(+) viscosity, medium gold color. Aromas of green/ yellow apples, creamy texture with background of stone/chalk to keep it quite interesting. Full bodied but does not appear to be oaked, Im assuming this spent some time on the lees.
Domaine Labet with Caviste (Grappe, Stockholm): Nose with light-coloured fruit including white peaches, green and yellow apples, mineral, and a hint of developed notes with clay and almond. The palate is medium bodied with quite a bit of green apples, mineral, and high acidity. Still rather young, 88 p. The 2011 shows less ripe fruit notes in the nose compared to the 2012. On the palate, it is more firm and Chablis-like. Overall, the 2011 gives a cooler impression.
