56F PnP Medium yellow. Nose with citrus and something funky - cat pee (but very faint). Interesting medium mouthfeel with various flavors running through it. Fruit but nothing to but a finger on. Good acid and nice balance attack/midpalate/finish. No experience with this wine and hard to place. Enjoyable on both first approach and with some thought. An outperformer at this price. This is my first bottle and last TN on CT is almost a year old. Tasting notes seem very mixed... I think this wine is still developing and will wait another year to check out my second bottle...
Nice lime green color makes this look like lemon lime water. Initially soft green apple skin with lemon on top on the nose, coupled with sweet honeydew melon meat. Soft and zesty on the palate, showing some slightly spritziness. Puckering sour apple candy with a coating, sour candy texture. Mineral notes primarily on the finish, with moderate acidity that lingers quite long, which is the dominant note. Even a minute later the tongue is still zinging from this wine. Very nice sensation. Again, like I just chewed up an atomic warhead or something. A nice straight forward quaffer, but nothing too compelling really. Same on day two.
A very nice white wine with grapefruit and floral aromas. White grapefruit on the palate, with mineral and that distinctive sesame note that the previous taster noted. A lot going on for $17 IMHO, and nice to drink a well-made example that takes what is often a simple, pleasant wine and moves it up a notch or two in complexity.
A nice little wine, it exceeded my expectations in terms of complexity. Decent tropical fruit and a distinct sesame note were its most salient components. That said, I don't think this was any sort of amazing bargain, even at the garagiste price of $17 (plus shipping). A nice little white, but there are plenty in the $15 range that are equal or superior to this wine.
