Orchard fruit, citrus, apples, and mineral notes on the nose. Great acidity with citrus, lemon, green apple, and more minerals on the palate. Nice finish. Really lovely Savagnin. This started out very backwards and needed a lot of air to gain some weight, it was all acidity and citrus at first. Will probably last for quite some time...

P 'n p; best with a little air, as noted by Marc D. Smells fresh and attractive - cool apple and stone fruit, citrus juice and peel, fresh herbs/pine, and hints of flowers. Similar on the palate - juicy apple, peach, lemon, and fresh herb flavors, tied together by fresh, tart acidity. Nice round fleshy texture. Some stony minerality develops toward the finish. Exceedingly fresh, drinkable, tasty, and moreish... joyful, even. This wine would be great for a picnic!
Day 2 - confirmed that it picnics well. Compared to day 1 it is somewhat leaner fruitwise, a bit cidery, and some savoriness has developed. Nice.

Loved this wine, it is a topped up version of savagnin so no oxidized notes. At first it is sort of nondescript with juicy, floral, yellow fruit flavors with good concentration and lift from the acidity. With air some of the savagnin flavors shine through, with some nuttiness, maybe even hint of curry spice. Delicious and recommended.

Still fresh. Not going to continue to improve, but still lively and rich.
