Medium garnet color, somewhat cloudy. Attractive nose of pungent mountain herbs, tar, tobacco leaf, and red berries. Medium to full bodied on the mouth with a touch of sandalwood. Very nice presence, with residual fine tannins on the finish.
Dark red color with a initial profile dominated by tar and leather with solid black fruit core and hint of iodine. Full bodied, dense, rich texture with integrating tannins and a lingering finish. After 4 hours rounder with better balance between the earth and fruit sides of this maturing Barolo
