  Drinking great. At peak? Loads of raspberry, sweet oak, balckberry core, and still grippy tannins. Long length and full bodied. Very nice wine indeed. No rush to drink this up.

  Really great shape. Bright fruit, medium acid, delightful finish. Throwing off some flaky film sediment, so needs a little decanting at the end.

  The return to La Ciau del Tornavento; 10/28/2017-10/29/2017 (Piemonte, Italy): Selected and served blind ( we know it was Barolo) by the sommelier of Ciau Del Tornavento. Magnum.
  We thought this was a lot younger and no way a 2000. Quite bright wine, good fruit, dark fruits, classic Barolo. Good depth lacks a bit polishing but very good and drinks very nicely now. 92-93
