Faintly floral start with bright green apple on nose and palate with intriguing richness for the vintage that hints at tropical fruit. Big fruit, nicely fresh for its age, with a very bright, energetic, mineral-flecked finish. Very good now.

Bright green apple aromas and flavors with faint tropical hints. Good+ weight with a very precise, leaner finish. Very good now through the next 5+ years.

Moments of deliciousness and moments of difficulty- tasted over 3 days. Always an aggresssive streak of minerality and flinty sulfur which sometimes overwhelmed the creamy yellow tropical ripe fruit- mango, banana, peach. The fruit and mineral never seemed completely integrated, but appeared and disappeared. When the fruit shone through, it was quite enjoyable. The finish was not particularly long.

White flowers with apple and pineapple aromas, followed by similar flavors, just slightly less tropical. Moderate weight, good+ length. Very enjoyable now.

At a merchant tasting. Light, color and palate, citrus, minerals, not much on top. A basic, light style chard.
