  • Paulee wedding lunch at Nicolas. Label crumbled off already.
Wow still alive with fruit, and it is good! Complex.
Appearance fine sediments, deep intensity, garnet colour. Legs.
Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of decayed earth, deep red plums. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (no label to refer to!), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of tertiary earth, sous bois, red plum, dark red cherry, minerality vein, hawthorne sweetness. Long finish with tobacco.
Excellent quality! Oldest Burgundy I tasted before, until the 1934 CV came along next.
