Followed over 24 hours. Quite a Jekel and Hyde experience. On opening, nose was primordial jammy red fruits. The palate was also similar and not typical of a HM Cabernet. After 24 hours of air, the wine completely transformed. Dark cherries and blackberries on those nose with a hint of loam. Balanced and rounded with cassis and blackberry compote. Hold on to your bottles or give it lots of air. Wine went from barely drinkable to quite nice with time.

Excellent. Opened up over 2 days. Dark fruits, graphite, cedar notes. Long finish. Combines the more upfront fruit of a modern Napa cab with the earthiness, complexity, and finish of a more classic Napa cab or Bordeaux

Opened and decanted and poured pretty quickly. This is still a young wine, but it was drinking very nicely and was much more approachable than I expected it to be. Went very well with the steak.

Bourbon, vanilla, blackberry jam, vanilla... Sweetness of Welches Grape and palate-searing at 14.5% abv. Every once in a while I taste a 'fancy' new school Napa Cabernet just to check that I'm not hating unnecessarily, and there is nothing pleasant or intellectual about these... Even if you pretend you are barrel tasting, because you can't get anything else, and look only for finish, it's short and punchy. Cannot be accurately scored against traditional wine.
