PNP. Cork wet 2/3 up. Strawberry, mushroom with reasonable structure. Those that didn’t see the bottle guessed Gevry . The fruit was still moderately fresh and concentrated with some background remaining tannin . The tertiary notes were present but not predominant At :45 open the fruit began to fade slightly, so PNP. I love the age-ability of Laurent’s wines

Drank from a magnum. Lacks the complexity of a proper grand cru but I am somewhat surprised that it feels a lot younger than I've anticipated. It can be approached now but I think it also has at least another 10-12 years ahead of it. Drink: now - 2035 Rating: 88

Juicy acidity, saturated cherries, berries and brambles, textured tannins, long finish. Satisfying but short on complexity. This has the fruit and acid to age longer.

Wild berries, animal, and cured meat on the nose and palate. It is expressive and layered. The Laurent oak is well integrated. Drinking beautifully. 92-93
