This is nice, but needs more time in the cellar. Nice fruit core. Darker red fruits and good minerality, but it is austere at the moment and on the "closed" side of things. Give it 5+ years, at least.

Nicolas Rossignol's 2011s (Bistro 7 (7 N. 3rd St., Philadelphia)): Lush, floral, concentrated core. Great acidity. Nice structure here. Airy and more elegant than you would normally associate with a Pommard. While this is forward now, it has great cellar potential and should age very well. This really out did the Rugiens by a good margin, but I still think Rossignol particularly excels with the Volnays.
