Bought 12b for 10.50/b about six years ago. Decanted with normal sediment for its age. Dark purple; rich black fruit nose (blackberry, blackcurrant), some oak; mature black fruit body with good mouthfeel; some persistence. Brings to mind the best good value Cali cabs I've had over time. Delicious. Stored horizontally in a cool, dark basement since purchase. My evaluation: I've stopped giving scores on a "100-point scale" as I've become less convinced that they can be meaningful to others. I use a 4-category scale (perhaps with +/-)--not including flawed--which runs outstanding/notable/drinkable/poor. I considered this notable+ when considering quality, age, and price.

Enjoyable, very delicate, almost prune and current like softness. Fantastic blackcurrant nose which is very similar to the '10 Zinfandel from Sebastiani. Not overly evident tannin structure so it has minimal dryness.

Typical overdone fast-food candy California wine. Really. It's a wine that wants to impress with overdoing the oak. Eventually started feeling like a cheap date. Gave my wife a headache and this only happens with "commercial", chemically doubtful wine...will avoid.

A beautifully balanced dark berry fruit with gorgeous colour and plenty of leg. This is drinking well right now and has enough stamina to go a couple of more years easily. Fantastic QPV
