Coravin pour at Michelin-starred restaurant Nouri in Singapore. 14% ABV. Black currant, cherry, blackberry, light chocolate, some spices, some cedar, some leather, some tobacco, some graphite, with ultra-fine tannin and very good persistence. Paired well with the four-types-of-lamb course, but the finish is leathery, and drily tannic, which concerns me a little, hence I would not buy for the cellar.
Tasting at Château Cos d'Estournel. Deep inky red. Silky fruit nose. Black and red fruit, mineral, autumn field, savoury. Silky tannins. long lingering finish. 75% Cab Sauv, 22% Merlot, 2% Cab Franc, 1% Petit Verdot.

Dense powerful wine with good fruit considering the year. Quite tannic but a lovely cassis flavour. Amazing intensity
