Lots of strawberries on the nose, with a touch of cola. Really nice shimmering crimson in the glass, begging your to consume the wine. In the mouth, the alcohol dominates, somewhat. Hint of white pepper riding along with the crisp fruit compote. Tannins are well integrated, but are still helping frame the wine. The finish is persistent. The excessive alcohol caused me to dock a couple of points. The Domaine Eden 2010 we had last night was better and $18 a bottle cheaper.

Wonderful rendition of the grape! Served up in a sexy bottle with a painted label and glass cork. I also tasted this at the winery a few weeks ago. My notes are very consistent.
Sweet nose which just overflows with strawberries, cherries and cola. Majestic crimson color in the glass. It begs to be consumed, and it does not disappoint. It slips down the hatch elegantly. The palette is consistent with the nose. Perfect balance and texture. This should evolve for another 5 - 7 years. Will be very interesting to re-taste at that point. Whitehall Lane always delivers value for money. This wine continues in that tradition.
