  • Lemon , green apples nose and melon ? taste a bit of lemon , needs at least 1 hour to open up .For the money a good choice

  • I wish there was an “I love it” option on CellarTracker.
Just as nice as before (see previous tasting notes) and for £13, what a bargain.
One doesn’t come across these flavours very often.
Having it with chicken fillets in a creamy chestnut mushroom sauce now. Brilliant stuff!

  • Very nice. I love dry white Bordeaux and this is one of my favourites and not only because it costs £13 per bottle!
After opening the bottle, it was quite closed at first. But after about 30mins it opened up nicely.
    Yellow greenish colour.
On the nose lemon, ripe green apple, but also melon and fresh pears. I think this is the semillion.
On the palate again ripe apples, melon and a hint of vanilla and oak. Medium to full bodied.
The longer it was open, the more the flavours developed.
The acidity is present, but not too dominant.
I think this is a really interesting wine. Not many whites I know have these notes in these proportions.
We had it first with creamy semi-smelly cheeses, Camembert and Brie de Maux.
Then for dinner we had cod fillets in a tomato sauce with spinach and chorizo.
The body of the wine paired really well with the meaty structure of the fish and its acidity with the chorizo.
This wine is better with food than on its own I think, even if you have some creamy cheese.
I will definitely be buying this wine again.
Another example of undervalued dry white Bordeaux.

  • Still as great as the last bottle (notes on 12/27/16). Wonderful melon qualities and perfumy florals on the nose. So well made. Good time to open this last bottle. Still a solid 92 points.

  • Such a great value and probably at peak now. Best around cellar temp and not too chilled. I will buy future vints if I see them.
