FWSG tasting. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of roasted nuts toast oak, citrus lemon, stony minerality, green peppercorn. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of fine stony minerality with a vein of salinity, almond nut cream, green apples, green pear, citrus lemon-lime, peppercorn spice. Long salivary finish. Vert good quality. Just a bit more oak integration and this will be in a great place.

Mikulski still has not completely convinced me… Not bad in anyway, but nor my favorite Meursault producer, I simply find the wines somewhat less intriguing than many others. Still not in any way a bad wine, just not great. Nose with apples and pears along with some smoke. Palate a bit dry, low on fruit, mainly citrus and green apples, quite high acidity, but a bit on the thin side, with a flat finish.

Bright yellow. Lemon curd, baked apple, and plenty of spice on the nose. Medium-bodied and significant energy frames citrus and mineral flavors, finishing with noticable acidity and drying tannins.

Light yellow. Very foresquare nose of citrus, touch mineral but not much more. Solid but not impressive. Is it the vintage, is it Genevrieres, is it Mikulski? I don't know, but the result is rather underwhelming. I don't know, may be I recently had too much exposure to Perrieres... 89-90

La Paulée Meets Chicago - Dinner (Blackbird - Chicago IL): Served alongside Charmes and Goutte d'Or, this was the clear star of the flight. Apple with some good spice, highlighted by great mineral and acid-intensive finish.
