Good colour. This has definitely softened in recent years. Now medium bodied in a modern style with good acid. I suspect the fruit has faded but I really enjoyed where this was at. 14.5% ABV. Drink remaining bottles over the next year or so.

Drunk for dinner with duck rillettes. 14.5%. Dark, opaque, black ruby. Hints of pepper and spice, stewed black fruits and fallen over-ripe plums trodden into the earth. Moderate length and good acidity. Clearly well made in a "New World" kind of way, however, slightly heavy going for my palate. Best enjoyed by the glass rather than bottle. Still going strong, so no rush.

Medium deep colour. Still purplish. Nose of blueberry and bubblegum. Slightly gooey impression, but on the palate just more than medium weight, not especially concentrated, and rather dominated by hard acidity on the finish. Not unenjoyable if you look past the faults, but I'm not sure there is much cellar upside.

Purple/red. Black fruit pepper and spice. Very good and easy drinking if you like Aussie fruity wine, which I do.

Smooth, good Barossa Shiraz. Pity it's my last one.
