Honeyed viogner. Good balance. Grenache blanc, viognier, rousanne blend. Served at Tablas creek wine dinner March 2014, Table 926. with halibut with grapefruit, apricot garnish.

I continue to respect Tablas Creek and their efforts to produce a respectable product at a reasonable cost. This is a rich white sipped alone or consumed with a meal. Reminds me if the apple harvest. Delightful.

Weeknight dinner sipper. Light straw with skimpy legs, although this offering feels more substantial on the palate with notes of hazelnut, wet pebbles, ripe pineapple and guava. Aromas of roasted nuts and lemon rind and a whiff of a finish. A better sipper than food wine at this stage.

52% Grenache Blanc 27% Viognier 16% Roussanne 5% Marsanne. Made from various estate and purchased fruit: Paso Ridge 20% Paso Ono 18% Catherine's 17% Chequera 16% Tablas Creek 11% Cass 8% Dawson Creek 5% Hidden Valley 5% Pale gold in color. Opened for 1 hr. Aromas of peaches, pears, apricots, eucalyptus and some minerals. Palate shows not quite ripe peaches, apricots, hint of eucalyptus. Some acids keep it balanced but definitely a "broad" mouthfeel that seems to lack a little focus. Nice lingering finish where the minerality finally shows up. Well made but hasn't converted me to grenache blanc yet.

Great QPR. Very well balanced and drank well on its own, but went fairly well with food too.
Earthy for a white, with herbal and stone fruit aromas.
