  • Med ruby color (no orange Neb rim) with spicy and red fruit aromas. The flavors are cranberry and cherry with earthiness on the finish. This bottle was more balanced than previous with the tannins mostly integrated. Decanted 45 min and needed it. A good wine from a good producer but needed the years in the cellar.

  • Just right drinking window. Good depth, color, and follow through. Paired well with our mushroom pasta with tomato sauce! Will look for more of this wine. Aged Roero Nebbiolo is a great value.

  • This was an interesting Nebbiolo. With its bright ruby color it looked like a Pinot and had cherry Pinot aromas. It was a little hollow in the midsection but finished with an aromatic and tannic finish. It also had acidity in its balance so we will probably wait a while to open another bottle. M. Correggia is a good producer so we are hoping for good development from this bottling.

  • Took to restaurant, so didn't decant. Went well with the seafood & sausage linguine.

  • Followed over two days. Dark transparent ruby. This is a Nebbiolo with pronounced floral aromatics & a good balance of approachability and structure. That balance is evident with the red fruit/tannin tension and the acidity coming more to the front as the wine opens. Medium bodied with a grippy rusticity on the texture. This has a mineral layer on the mid palate which presents good diversity with food pairings.

This is a nervy, tense take on Nebbiolo and shows plenty of detail to make it both worthy of thought and a pleasure to drink. I do believe that it is better on the younger side though.
