Clear ruby. Reticent nose of tart red fruits and a hint of earth. Light-bodied with good acidity and notes of tart red fruits and white pepper. Somewhat one-dimensional but not bad for a Wednesday night.

(Erath Estate Selection Pinot Noir Willamette Valley) A lightly aromatic wine with vanilla, cherry, strawberry, and spices. The palate is elegant in style showing a classic fruit and barrel style with spice and vanilla notes that linger on the finish. A lot of good things going on here with the wood just a bit out of proportion to the fruit that’s in the bottle. 100% Pinot Noir. Aged 12 months in French oak (40% new). 12.5% alcohol. 1,743 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.

Waited too long to open this one. Nearly undrinkable.

A little thin, not as balanced as I like.

Ripe fruits; cherries and raspberries initially. Follwed by mocha, smoke, tar and floral notes.
