  • Dark garnet core with slight brick Red rims showing the age.
Rustic, earthy and balsamic nose intermix with dried fruits, black cherry, raspberry and hints of smoky oak.
Soft, mellow entry with austere structure building up, along with black cherry, dusty earth, chocolate and spices on palate.
It has a nice midpalate with balance acidity that extend to a long tannic finish. This wine still demand for a juicy meat to pair.

  • Wat een heerlijke wijn is dit. Uiteraard behoeft deze wijn geen introductie. Hele mooie dieppaarse kleur. @Okhuysen - EUR 13.50

  • Drank this wine at my in-law's place tonight.

Wine was recommended by a wine mate. Popped and poured and shared with my father-in-law, brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Wine was purplish in colour, with fragrance and aromas of ripe ripe red fruits and chocolate. On the palate it is refined, reassuring and comforting with a long enduring finish.

This wine is lush, smooth and graceful in style. Comparable to a nice Cabernet Franc. Was pleasantly surprised that this is a Syrah and Grenache blend as they are usually more powerful rather than elegant.
