This is in a really good spot right now. A little masonry, wet limestone, very mineral, maybe with a hint of reduction and a touch of oak that's integrating nicely. Classic pear-yellow apple fruit, hay. Slightly rounded now, good structure, medium body, starting to develop, but I would drink this now-3 years, still with some freshness to it. Previous bottle was a dud--glad this one is back in form. With wild Sockeye salmon at Bri's.

This was slightly dark yellow-gold, too dark at this stage. The nose was nice with some oak, sour pear juice, but a bit acidic and tart/aggressive and slightly nutty, possibly light pre-mox. I need to drink up my last bottle soon.

Very aromatic with slight caramel (some new oak), melon, gravel, red-green apples; ripe, voluptuous, slight reductive quality, tons of flavor on the palate. Really nice, intense, but maybe slightly over-oaked.

Very aromatic, reduction present with melon, wet limestone, intense, gravelly somewhat austere (youthful) finish, should go the distance. Really lovely. 92-93
