  Good Syrah flavor - can definitely taste the pepper. I found this to be slightly thin to my taste - just not as compelling as many other syrah wines. It was good, and well made, but perhaps too subtle for my taste. Maybe I'm just accustomed to Australian shiraz?
  
  Regardless, it was good - but for $27, I can think of several other wines I would have preferred.
