More expressive than previous experience dark berries, vanilla, spice, dark floral note to the nose, light body with a mix of oak and dark fruit, some tannin but not obtrusive

A noticeable step down from the L'hospice, the nose is pretty with sublte dark olive, creamy savory dark berry and some spice, palate is quite smooth and elegant with medium acidity stil though feels like it lacks structure and a little heat/bitter spike - I generally like the guigal range but felt disappointed with this will have the other bottle in a few months

Well made and elegant but not terribly exciting

Outstanding Saint Joseph. Had this with tenderloin and bourguignon.
