  Quarantine, porco government. The grandfather of the current "PX de añada". Behind the obvious notes of raisins and dates, there are more complex notes of figs with walnuts and mahogany or sandalwood-type noble woods. In the mouth it offers a dense, syrupy texture but balanced by a still brilliant acidity and a bitter and deeply delicious aftertaste. Recommended.

  El abuelo de los actuales "PX de añada". Detrás de las obvias notas a uvas pasas y dátiles apetecen otras más complejas a higos con nueces y a maderas nobles tipo caoba o sándalo. En boca ofrece una textura densa, almibarada pero equilibrada por una todavía brillante acidez y un postgusto amargo y profundamente delicioso.
  Recomendado.

  It is a very good quality wine. It has a lingering finish and a great flavour concentration, and it shows very well the typicity of a PX. However a better example of this style would be more complex. Drink now, it is already fully developed, so there is no point in ageing it.
