The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blueberry and strawberry jam. It tastes like mineral and light toast. The body is light/medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

An enjoyable Oregon Pinot Noir in a classy package. Some bottle age wouldn't hurt but I can't say whether it will necessarily help without much experience with the producer. If there's a fault it's a lack of complexity and depth. Too light for my taste. Not enough effortless power. But if you're looking to dial it back a bit it's not a bad play.

Note is from Night 2: The color is slightly on the darker side in my experience with Oregon Pinot noir. The nose is spice driven with dark berries, oak and hints of sweet tobacco. It's thin and dry on the palate, and not as rich as the color might suggest. That said, it's integrated very well and goes down incredibly smooth. The tannins are light, barely showing at all, and while the acidity is certainly there, it doesn't dominate in any sense. The wine is lean and balanced, and drinking very well right now. I would recommend consuming it with food, perhaps BBQ chicken or anything grilled.

Willamette Valley for Memorial day weekend and a peak at 2012; 5/25/2013-5/26/2013: Very soft aromas with delicate fruit. Impressive balance and depth for this level. Very soft palate offering nice big body and good soft texture. Not too much structure here, but for an opulent drink now wine, it's pretty good. Similar finish, soft, with impressive fruit.
