From St.Saphorin within the limestone rich steep terraces of the Lavaux vineyards. Apparently the winner of multiple awards from both French and Swiss evaluations. Pale brass in colour. Featuring preserved lemon aromas followed by ripe golden apple and pear tart. Opulent, rich and oily with sweet fruit well lifted by its acidity.

DWCC Iconic Swiss Varietals with Mr. Paolo Basso (Montreux, Switzerland): Slate, citrus and lime. OMG, there is so much energy to this one. Some trapped CO2 apparently and very effective. This is not a big wine, but it is frisky, zingy and clean. Some what straight and linear, in a good and focused way. A really nice saline and mineral aspect. Paolo's descriptors included "licorice, very pleasant."

Pale green-yellow. Discreet chalky-salty notes and citrus on the nose. Indeed the wine has lovely (medium) acidity for a Chasselas. Lemon verbena and slightly salty notes are elegantly lifted with very light effervescence. Delicate medium long finish.
