  That combination of tannin, wood, red fruit and acids. Sublimely powerful. But lacks finesse and elegance. Keep another 10 years

  Palate- fresh cherry fruit with a texture, plenty of tannins, pronounced spices with chalky & pithy notes, & some oak with more fruit & possibly some tar with medium acidity on the finish. Full bodied. The oak is quite prominent but not overly intrusive. This came across as very young & could definitely benefit from some time in the cellar, but was also extremely enjoyable.

  Decanted for 2 hours, dark fruits & tar, spices, on the palate very elegant, dusty tannins, modern Barolo
