Last of 12, pnp, ullaged half inch, soaked cork, slight heightening of colour, rich almost honeyed flavours, now quite broad, if nuanced, with citric notes diminished, some oxidation through age (not pox!), in decline though still attractive with right food pairing, drink up. Just about F (17.5).......bottle unnoted about 5 years ago was in better shape and lovely then 93+.

Tasted blind, this wine had a medium yellow center and clear rims. It had a medium+ intensity nose of green apples, toasted vanilla, citrus, and almond paste.
In the mouth, this wine was intense and gorgeously integrated with crisp acidity and great length.
This bottle developed extremely well with air. While fully mature it is still going strong. Excellent!

(Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne) From magnum. Bright golden colour. The nose shows complex notes that include honey and lanolin. A model of freshness and power the palate has engrossing complexity and a special 'extra' dimension on the finish. Real class.

Painfully corked. What was underneath it was fantastic. Bummer

Another great looking bottle tasted blind, this wine was excellent and going strong. It was balanced, stony, and long. Top notch!
