Fantastic expressive nose of fresh baguette, yeast, cookie dough, some yellow peach and subtle berry notes; palate is fuller, large bubbles, slightly bitter finish. Trade off here between the lovely nose and a not so great finish. Blind at Monopole

This is always an excellent value, lots of PM fruit, clean, not too long, exuberant, well-made; 75% PM here, Vallee de la Marne PM, Co-op with class. This should be someone's house bubbles and I'm sure it is. Monopole Champagne Extravaganza.

Surprise of the night was this 100% Pinot Meunier Brut--very aromatic and exuberant as PM tends to be with green apple, pear, cherry fruit and good strong flavors on the palate. These are not shy wines (PM-based), nor do they define elegance, but they're very fun to drink.
